She always has a smile on her face and loves working with kids. She is an active racer at CYC and was formerly on her high school sailing team.

Emily is excited to share her passion for sailing by providing the best possible instructional programs for youths and adults.
Brennon is a US Sailing-certified instructor with several years of experience as an advanced Youth Instructor previously. A lifelong sailor who grew up at CYC, he has grown into an avid and competitive racer, having competed at both regional and world championship levels. Brennon is excited to return to CCS and is looking forward to leading an outstanding adult sailing program.   Steve is passionate about sailing and providing our youth and adult sailors with the best possible instructional program. He’s been managing the program since 2012 and loves to see people discover the joy of sailing. Steve has been sailing his entire life. He currently races the Ensign, Vanguard 15, and Sunfish fleets. The sailing skills he and his family have honed on Canandaigua Lake have taken them sailing in places as far away as New Zealand.

John is a US Sailing-certified keelboat instructor and has been with us for nine years. He grew up sailing the Finger Lakes as a young boy with his parents in a small daysailer. At age 10 he became very interested in “harnessing the wind” and hasn’t let it go yet. After college John began crewing on larger boats and over the years has competed in several major events from local regattas to national championships. He has also been involved with OASIS Adaptive Sports, helping disabled military veterans through sailing and skiing.    Peter learned to sail at SBJSA at age 10 and competed in countless regional one-design regattas in Lasers and 420's, eventually becoming a US Sailing-certified instructor. He moved to Austria at age 20 and enjoyed the privelege of sailing on numerous alpine lakes, the Baltic Sea, and the Denmark Strait. Having previously worked two years at CYC, he is thrilled to rejoin the team, talk race strategy, share experiences, and celebrate sailing in our great area.
