Private Lessons

Private lessons for both individuals and small groups, may be scheduled on demand with any of our instructors, based on mutual availability. A variety of different boats - Sunfish, 420, Vanguard 15, Flying Scot, Hobie 16, and Cal25 - may be available, depending on when the lesson is scheduled.

A US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification course can be scheduled on demand. Instruction is typically done in small groups over a couple of weekends or can be done during weekdays.

In addition to the US Sailing Basic Keelboat course, John Murphy can tailor Cal25 keelboat instruction to your group. These customized classes are available on weekdays in morning and afternoon blocks.

Boats, Fees, & Instructors

Private lessons (Sunfish, 420s, Vanguard):		$50/hour for one person, minimum 2 hours. $20/hour for each additional person (maximum 5 people)

Private lessons (Hobie 16):		$50/hour for one person, minimum 2 hours. $20/hour for additional person (maximum 2 people)

Private lessons (Flying Scot):		$95/hour with a maximum of 5 people and a minimum of 2 hours

Cal25 keelboat instruction (weekdays):		$130/hour with a maximum of 6 people and a minimum of 2 hours
