Located on beautiful Canandaigua Lake, one of upstate New York’s Finger Lakes, “Canandaigua” means "chosen spot" in the Seneca language. We couldn’t agree more!
The Canandaigua Yacht Club (CYC) is a member-owned, family-friendly club, dedicated to sailing, sailboat racing, and social activities. You don’t need to be a sailor or own a sailboat to enjoy membership. Members have access to:
- 500 feet of level waterfront including a sandy beach, private swimming area, picnic pavilion, and playground. See Member Use Facilities for details.
- A beautiful clubhouse with a full service bar, exceptional cuisine, indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the lake where you can entertain your family, friends, & business associates. See Restaurant.
- Private and group sailing offered by Canandaigua Community Sailing for ages seven and up.
- Racing programs and crewing opportunities galore! We even welcome power boats. See Let's Sail to learn more.
