May 1-2, 2010 - J-Daze
This is the 21st Annual J Spring Invitational Regatta which is open to all J-24 class boats. NOR SCORES

May 29th - CYC 75th Anniversary Race starts at 11am. Race to Marks off the historic previous locations of the club house!!
May 31st - Memorial Day Handicap
This race, as well as all of our Holiday Handicap races, is open to all boats on Canandaigua Lake. Sailors do not have to be a member of the yacht club to participate. There will be four classes of starts with prizes awarded to each class. The first start scheduled for 1:00 PM.
July 3rd - CYC Old Salts - Team racing in Vanguard 15's
July 5th - Fourth of July "Firecracker" Handicap
This race is open to anyone on the lake who would like to sail. Membership in the yacht club is not required. There will be four classes of starts with finishes being determined by a handicap system. Registration at 11:30 AM, first start at 1:00 PM. Regatta fee $10.00.
July 24th - Muddy Mast Vanguard Regatta
August 7- 8 - Ensign End of Summer Regatta
August 14 - Cana'Fish Regatta: Open to all Sunfish Class sailboats NOR
September 4 - Junior Racing at 10am
September 4 - Ring of Fire Regatta: Registration at 11:45 AM and the first start is scheduled for 1:00 PM. Post race celebration on the deck.
September 6 - Squaw Island Race: Skippers meeting at 9am, race starts at 9:30. Registration is free. A hot dog roast sponsored by the Flag will be held following the race for those who participated in the race. You do not have to be a member to race, you must be 16 or younger. Club boats will be assigned on that day on a first come first served basis. Bring your parents to cheer you on! For additional info. contact Nora C. at 229-5567.
September 6 - Labor Day Handicap
This is the last handicap race of the season and is open to all boats on the lake. There will be 4 classes of competition with prizes being awarded to the winners based on the handicap system. Registration at 11:45 and the first start is scheduled for 1:00 PM. Stay for post race party and picnic on the deck featuring music by Old Hippie Reunion, make reservations please.
September 18- 19 - Canandaigua Multihull Open Regatta. NOR
This regatta is open to any multi-hull class boat and draws many outsiders to the competition. This is a fun regatta for participants.
October 10th - Tour-de-Lake Race
The annual around-the-lake race starts at CYC and goes to a turning mark slightly north of Woodville at the southern end of the lake. After rounding the southern mark, all boats return to CYC. This race is open to any boat on the lake who would like to participate, provided the proper safety equipment is on board. Tour-de-Lake NOR
